Privacy policy

We process the data needed to sell and license Scope Overlay.

• Google sign-in (Firebase): email, Google user id, auth tokens.
• Stripe: payment status, customer id, email used at checkout. Card data stays with Stripe.
• License seats: a machine identifier, optional PC name, last-seen time, and IP used when the app checks in. This is how we enforce the two-PC limit and detect sharing.
• Support mail: messages to [email protected] are forwarded to the operator.
• Restore requests: the text you send and the automated review outcome.

Legal basis: contract (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR) and legitimate interest in stopping license abuse (Art. 6 (1)(f)). Hosting is on this operator’s server and Cloudflare. Firebase/Google and Stripe are processors / independent controllers for their parts.

You can ask for access, correction, deletion, or objection via [email protected]. Supervisory authority: your local EU data protection office.
